*Weddings may NOT be scheduled on holidays; or on the weekend prior to and following due to special events.  All dates must be approved through the facilities manager for clearance.

WHCC does not charge members to use the facility however there are certain professional fees that both members and non members are required to pay as well as refundable deposits which must be made at the time of application.  For more details on deposits and fees refer to

WHCC facility use policy which covers all fees and deposits.  Payment as follows: damage deposits and ½ of the fees are due at the time of the booking of the event.  The balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks prior to the event or the reservation will be cancelled and the deposit retained.

Florist, Caterers, Photographers, and other vendors:

A:  Be sure to coordinate with your florist, caterer, photographer and other vendors as to when the facilities will be available for them to deliver. 

B: No keys will be given to anyone under any circumstances.  All people delivering and dropping things off at the facility must notify us as to when they are delivering so the facility will be available for them to do so.  Failing to communicate could cause problems for you so make sure to notify all of your vendors as to the availability of the facilities. 

C:  The wedding party will be expected to protect all furniture from any possible damage.  This includes the auditorium, multi purpose facilities, and kitchen facilities (if applicable).

D:  A representative of the bridal couple and or the sponsor must make arrangements to see that all items from the wedding are picked up from the church either the day of the wedding.  WHCC assumes no liability for the loss of items left at the church following the event. 

E:  Regular or dripless candles are not permitted for use in the facility.  Permanent cylinder candles are allowed.

F:  No nails or tacks are permitted- tape may be used sparingly.  Any damage resulting from decorating will be deducted from the applicable deposits. 

G:  Photographers may take all pictures desired by the wedding party. 

H:  None of the platform furniture may be moved from the platform without prior consent of the Senior Pastor.

Other General Policies:

A:  Conduct of the wedding party and guests should be in keeping with the standards of our congregation as practiced at the time of worship services.

B:  Smoking is not permitted at any time on our facilities.

C:  No alcohol is permitted on our premises in connection with the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner/wedding/or wedding reception or any other event.

D:  No type of bird seed is ever to be distributed in the building, no exceptions.  Seed bags should be distributed outside the building at the end of the wedding reception.   Rice is not permitted.

E:  No decorations may be hung from the ceiling of any room or sanctuary at WHCC.
